Open-Source Bluetooth Network Hacking Device
Michael Ossman has designed Ubertooth One, which is an inexpensive and open-source Bluetooth network sniffer. While in “monitoring mode”, it allows you to gather data meant for other Bluetooth devices. This little device is a USB plug with a ARM Cortex-M3 processor-based board and an antenna, and it’s compatible with wireless monitoring tools such as Kismet.
Normally a Bluetooth network-hacking device would run you approximately $1000, but this device’s hardware and software are open-source so you can build your own.
Also, if you pledge at his Kickstarter page you can get some pretty awesome stuff (circuit boards, tested Ubertooth Ones, etc)

UPDATE: RTW is planning on building our own…so watch out for that video.
