Gigabyte’s GA-X58A-OC is just… an OCing competitior
VR-Zone just recieved what’s about to blow you away in an OC competition, a motherboard from Gigabyte exclusively. Now we all know that Gigabyte is know for theor baby-blue theme boards that doesn’t really sttract us but popular for overclockers, mainstream users and even hackintosh communities. These days, they’re slowly moving away from that theme and went from the all black theme to military-style colours. Well now though, they went a bit of “Agent Orange” and armoured matte black. Their latest board, called the GA-X58A-OC, just looks sleek from my first point of view. But further reading proof that the board is seriously not for all normal users. You know, it has like several OC features such as OC-VRM, OC-Touch, OC-PEG, OC-Cool and OC-Dual BIOS. But one thing I can tell you out of those features is OC-PEG. Basically what it is, is 2 SATA power connectors; each that is capable of powering 2 PCIe slots to give more voltage to 2 buses, how’s that? Another thing is that the connectivity for your flash drives and perpherals for example, isn’t that much to impress you alot. What’s there is something you need to adjust the voltages or the frequencies, getting you online to submit you 3dMark 11 scores and to hear sounds on Unigine at least. Release date isn’t set for us yet but Gigabyte said they’ll get it in production, but I bet no one would ever want it because it’s like buying an Aston Martin DBR9 in order to get into a GT1 championship and to find out you can’t use it on the road.

HOLY SHIT THAT WOULD LOOK SO GOOD IN MY RIG! :O
btw, add some “ENTER” spaces in that bunch of text, a bit hard to read.
It’s a shame it’s more for the extreme OC market than just regular user market. That IO panel is very very very dissapointing for normal users today:
