Google pulls 21 rootkit Android apps from their store
Yes, s
ome of us aren’t a security savvy, but an Android “fan” site called Android Police reports that a Reddit (you know what to do RTW) user called lompolo was the first person to discover this after a scan on a rootkit-infected app called Super Guitar Solo confirmed that it’s just Guitar Solo Lite but with the attacker added malicious codes to the original. Android Police’s “local hacker”, Justin, confirmed that this is a planned attack against Google and reported to them to notify about the attack. 5 minutes later, all 21 apps were removed. However, Dailytech reports that over 200000 Droid users have been affected by this. If you’re reading this and if you are the victim, don’t just remove the app. Format your phone, because the codes that have been executed are in your phone. Otherwise good news, Google will kick in their “remote kill” switch to any Droid users who’s still have their phones infected with malware. Remember this feature? Then you would know how controversial it was, but useful now. Note this was Apple’s idea as well, so *points* THEY DID IT!
Still, I would recommend any of you readers to buy an Android phone because this will not only make you look smart, but more normal and civilised as oppose to Apple, who we know are cooporates with hypocrites hypnotising people and their upcomming “iTampon 2″. Android still in my list.

Google didn’t remotely removed the apps. Owners have to do the format by themselves.
