Probably FUDZILLA. They <3 Nvidia.
@ Carl - Beautiful. You touched my heart. Build the way you want it is the only way to get your dream PC!
As long as you pay for your games. One thing I hate is people with $3000 PCs pirating games. Just sayin'

Exactly, would seem a bit counterproductive to build a PC for PC gaming while simultaneously strangling the industry to death. I'm guilty of charge on no-CD-cracking many of my games though, but only for not having to use an optical drive for more than installation, leaving the discs clean and safe in the bookshelf :)

Carl said:
Well of course I won’t make up my mind on the CPU and GPU yet, that would just be plain stupid and futile

When it comes to the overkill components, that’s simply the way I wish to build it, I’m strange that way. I build just as much for the aesthetics and the effort put into the build as I do for the usage. Because the building is my main hobby, more so than gaming. I build the rig with quality (after inspecting the 600T and other Corsair cases, I find no lack of quality whatsoever, just as with all Corsair products) and good looking components. I will never compromise on performance for looks, and I will never compromise looks for performance – I aim to get both, even if it hurts in my wallet. Computers are works of art just as any other. If I wanted to build a rig with only what I need and what is cost efficient and that I know that I will use 100% – I would. But now, I want to build a fast good-looking computer. Hence the sleeving, the color-schemed case and components, and so forth. The cooling is good enough for that purpose without sacrificing looks (an H70 will be enough for any consumer CPU and the graphics card will be cooled by an Accelero, later to be upgraded with a water loop). And as long as those criteria are fulfilled, I will be pleased with the result and pleased with having it on my desk – and hence I will not find it a waste of money.

I don’t say you’re wrong, not in any way, but this is simply the way I work and the way I go forth with my hobby I’m simply strange that way.

But all your tips are of course taken into consideration, thank you for your comment!
1) Welcome sir!
2) Do not make a decision yet. Bulldozer and NV Kepler is coming out 2011 Q3. If AM3+ has SLI support, then your life has been saved.
Some leaked specs of 28nm NV Kepler:

GTX690_GK100__32_*_24_=_768__825/__1650/_4600__72____96__512__GDDR5/ 2.00GB_270W__499 U.S. dollars

~ 1.5x performance increase over Fermi. But if you want AMD Radeon, I won't stand in your way.
AMD Bulldozer are 4-12 cores @ 1.6 - 2.8 GHz (I think). Monsters!
3) Looks like you got a nice list of VERY expensive, and useless hardware (for the price). Corsair Dominators are only for the champs. So are the Asus RoG and EVGA Classified, unless you are really desperate for them 70mhz over your neighbor.
My EVGA X58 SLI LE did 4GHz @ 1.275V with vanilla Corsair Domies... I don't see why people are spending +$200 for a better design. Unless they really got some credit to burn on anything else than helping the rest of the world in need. Heck.
MY POINT IS; instead of all that "ZOMG EXXXSPENSIVEZ MOTTABOARD & RAMZ" throw some money in a REAL case. Not that Corsair piece of **** (no offense GreenSli!) Get the real stuff with 2mm brushed aluminum, airflow zones, DUSTFILTERS and all that stuff. SilverStone and Lian Li are the best when it comes to quality. Take a look and see if there's a case that you might fall in love with.
Get decent cooling.
Better GPU's.
The best PSU.
Enough HDDs.
You name it.
Don't waste your moneys.
I haz spoken.

Since we are in platform limbo like Logan and Qain said in an earlier video, I'm holding off until Bulldozer and possibly even PCI-E 3.0 and then make my move.
My other concern is the coming of the next consoles. I remember the 360 being quite a formidable opponent to build a PC against in it's early years. Even the best video card of 2006, a year after the 360's release, could not reproduce the same graphics quality as the 360 is putting out today, sadly.

razerboi said:
its still feb and you have 4 months more so you might see buldozer around that time (hopefully) and then decide if its going to be sandybridge or buldozer ....

PS - does any one know what the ETA of the Buldozer's are?

I don't think they've officially announced a release date yet.
