Any reason why? just read a review on the series. Capstone is brand new. And they gave it a 9.1 out of ten.

I just personally like to go with brand names that already have a good reputation. Ever since my biostar motherboard died on me in my first build, I only buy brand name components.

I only use 80 plus certified PSUs and the rosewell PSUs that I've used have fit that discription, would you rather have a 650w with 90% efficiency or would you rather have a 850w with 83% for the same price, they also have a dented (like a golf ball) fans to be move air more quietly and effectively, only PSUs I know that have that are rosewell their single rails are actually pretty decent, their most notable features are the ones they don't advertise, or at least not on newegg, not trying to say they are like master race of PSUs but they get a bad name since they aren't "name brand" if one of their PSUs is bad its a bad company but if one of Cosair's goes bad its just a defective fluke, I geuss that kind of stuff gets to me since I mostly do scalable best bang for your buck kind of builds. oh so this isn't just a rant and acttually pretains to the thread (somewhat) don't underestimate "cheaper" hardware, research ALL brands and products, not just expensive, name brand "quality" ones, you'll either save money or get better hardware for the same ammount, sounds good to me
also as for a long term investment, in the hardware that I've owned, most of which is like a decade or older, the only things that have died are hard drives, the only reason I've had to upgrade a PSU was lack or cable length or not enough Juice, and only one of each so far

GigaBuster.exe said:
I've used rosewell for all my builds for customers, haven't had a problem yet out of like 10

They are okay, I have worked with them, but when doing my own personal builds I always go for a power supply with better efficiency and features, as I will transfer it from build to build.

I think of my PSU as long term investments as they don't change very much so I keep them for awhile.
