About
If this is your first time on RazeTheWorld.Com, we urge you to get involved in our community and register.
RazeTheWorld put simply is a community of people like you all! We operate several services at a given time:
- A youtube page featuring random yet entertaining videos, tell all your friends! Our youtube page can be found at http://youtube.com/razethew0rld.
- Several servers for multiple games, Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike Source, and Golden Eye Source, a MineCraft server is in the works. At the end of most weeks, RazeTheWorld.Com hosts what we like to call an ‘event,’ these events are usually just to get the community together in a game, usually Team Fortress 2, but recently has been turning towards Golden Eye Source. Nate will post a thread marking the time and date ahead of time, and your job is just to play!
- There is a group of helpful staff! Many questions can be answered by the helpful moderators and staff members here. If you are unsure on who you can ask, private message a moderator to help you with your question.
- There is a tech inbox for the inbox videos that Logan and Qain make, simply email a question to inbox@razetheworld.com, and their response may be featured on video, along with your question!
- RazeTheWorld.Com has a folding @ home group for those who are familiar with the software. Folding @ Home is a distributed computing platform that allows people to donate their home computer’s resources to running simulations to show how proteins create themselves, known as folding, in a certain situation.
- There is also a steam group! If you are unfamiliar with Steam, it is a digital distribution platform for PC games, allowing you to download the game you buy to your computer through an online cloud. It is also a full featured online community of gamers, and many if not most RTW members have an account in which you can instant message with!
- Chat with other members in the Official RazeTheWorld IRC, hosted at irc.wyldryde.org, room #razetheworld! A web version of this IRC can be found on RazeTheWorld’s chat page, just enter a name.
- RazeTheWorld.Com has a real life resident dragon, named Kremath, beware of this dragon. If you’re not careful, he may ‘get’ you. No additional warnings will be given.
